Shaping the next generation of changemakers with UNSW

UNSW

philo & co were invited to co-create and deliver the inaugural UNSW ADA Innovation Hub Circular Design Sprint. The goal was to foster interdisciplinary expertise and address complex problems through circular design and collaboration.

Approach. Learning modules and team activities were designed to guide sixty students through the principles of circularity and explore interconnected systems. The Sprint asked students to consider how we could redesign campus spaces to deliver waste reduction initiatives.

Impact. The Sprint provided students with valuable insights into the circular economy and showcased tangible, scalable solutions that could positively impact campus life. It served as a testament to the effectiveness of incorporating circularity into educational initiatives for real-world problem-solving.

Circular Design
It has been a great pleasure collaborating with Pippa from philo&co. Pippa’s approach is transparent, collaborative and efficient. In co creating a Circular Economy training program for UNSW Pippa’s expertise was invaluable, and her willingness to co-create a program that was specifically tailored to the students in the Faculty of ADA was greatly appreciated.
